Recognizing the need for permanent accommodation for people with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, the Senior Care Home has adopted a completely new and modern approach to care in institutional care.
One accommodation unit has been fully adapted for the accommodation and care of female people with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. The department has 10 rooms, a dining room and living room, and an inner courtyard for staying and walking in good weather.
The department has a professional team present every day, which carries out mental and physical rehabilitation, health care and nursing, and various types of occupational therapy (reading, writing, laughter therapy, board games, etc.) that have been proven to improve the cognitive functions of the brain of the affected person.
