The Home’s specialty is the adaptation of the service to users who need intensive supervision and assistance in performing everyday activities.

The Home has a special, central department that houses the intensive care unit, where immobile users and users with serious and incurable illnesses have access to top-notch accommodation, care, and 24-hour supervision by professional medical staff.

Users are provided with complete medical care, physical therapy, and rehabilitation services.

The department is equipped with modern medical equipment and devices, including a lift for lifting immobile users, and a therapeutic relaxation hydromassage tub. The beds are equipped with top-quality anti-decubitus mattresses with a compressor.

Professional medical staff, led by the head nurse, is located within the intensive care department itself.

More than care

Activities of intensive care unit users

The importance of implementing activities with users of the intensive care unit is reflected in the improvement of their quality of life, so that such people, despite their limitations, can successfully integrate into the community in which they live.

All activities are carried out under the supervision of professional staff, with the aim of eliminating difficulties in adaptation, stimulating and maintaining the communication and social skills of users and encouraging their inclusion in the everyday life of the community.

The goal of intensive care and palliative care at our institution is to improve the quality of life of seriously ill patients by meeting the highest standards of care. Care for patients in this unit includes both medical, psychological and social care.
